Exchange Mailbox Database Replication Issue


Step 1: To verify exchange database replication issue

Step 2: Open Exchange Management Shell at Passive node and run the below command

Note: you will not able to run reseed cmdlets in Active node

Get-MailboxDatabaseCopyStatus

Step 3: if you found the replication issue then state is other than healthy so you would need to updating\re-seeding the database will be solve the above issues

Step 4: if you decided to reseeding the mailbox database then you would need to suspend replication of Mailbox Database

Suspend-MailboxDatabaseCopy -Identity “DatabaseName\ServerName”

For Reseeding

Update-MailboxDatabaseCopy -Identity “DatabaseName\ServerName” –DeleteExistingFiles

The duration of the seeding process will depend on the size of the database and the speed of the network. When the update has completed it will automatically replication for the database copy
